I'm a little late to this thread, but are you simply trying to run the gx4000 through the LibRetro_MESS core? As long as your mess folder structure is set up correctly and your version of the core is relatively recent, then it will work correctly. I managed to even run this with an intel HD4400...

When I load up the AHK and ISD provided I get an error when trying to call the ConvertRetroCFGKey: I admit, I hadn't had much of a look at this module, but it was working with previous versions. I think I'm missing something simply because of coming into this late. Thank you again to everyone...
