Hello,
I updated to HS 1.4 and I cant get the roms to load. It works on 1.3.3. please help i have been trying for hours and cant find fix

Thanks for your help, but I have done a fresh install of RL and doing a fresh install of HS and updated the installation file from 1.33 to 1.4. I never installed HL 3. I follow the guides for clean install ib the forums and it still get the error posted above. Like I said I have RL install with HS 1.3.3 and it works fine. RL with HS 1.4 does not work. What else would you need to help me with this issue?

What's your HyperSpin 1.4 installation folder path? It needs to be G:\HyperSpin otherwise it won't work. To have it work with a custom path you'll need to configure the launch for each system like you did in HS 1.3 (ie no HyperLaunch and manually add the command line in HyperHQ).

I configure it the same way the I did for 1.3. For HS 1.3 is G:\Hyperspin133 and for HS 1.4 is G:\Hyperspin14. Becasue I'm running 1.4 as a test I have a new instance (for testing) of RL on G:\RocketLauncherN\ that one is pointing to HS 1.4. Do I make sense so far?

Got you. So the program is looking literary for \HyperSpin. I though u were saying that my path should have been pointing to the "HyperSpin folder"

I dont know what it is then. as soon as I changed it to the default folder name it worked. I just leave it as is.

My HS is not in a root folder called hyperspin and works fine :)

jeremy, you must either provide the frontend path via CLI to RL, or you must be in one of the default folders RL will look for. Chances are you are providing the FE path then and will work with any name then.

The more folders I check in RL by default, the longer everyone's launch will be, so it's only a couple by design.
