Hey guys, figured I'd break the seal on this section. :)

Alright, so I'm setting up Demul, and I've been able to set up the Jamma_0 configurations using my PS2 controller. My problem is, I have no idea how to setup the Jamma_1 section. I found the settings for Jamma_0 in a thread on the Hyperspin forum, but not for Jamma_1. The problem is the settings look like this:

Code:
[standard_JAMMA0_0]
PUSH1=16777219
PUSH2=16777218
PUSH3=16777217
PUSH4=16777216
PUSH5=16777220
PUSH6=16777221
PUSH7=16777222
PUSH8=16777223
SERVICE=71
START=16777224
COIN=16777225
DIGITALUP=16777228
DIGITALDOWN=16777230
DIGITALLEFT=16777231
DIGITALRIGHT=16777229
ANALOGUP=33554689
ANALOGDOWN=33554433
ANALOGLEFT=33554688
ANALOGRIGHT=33554432
ANALOGUP2=33554693
ANALOGDOWN2=33554437
ANALOGLEFT2=33554690
ANALOGRIGHT2=33554434

I have no idea how to find those type of numerical values for the button presses for Player 2. Anyone know how?

I'd really not have to use Xpadder if I don't have it.

Edit: Replaced super tiny screensho with what the standard config looks like in the .ini file, so you can see what I mean.

I don't have Demul setup, but I'm pretty sure you configure those in the emulator, exit, open the ini file in notepad and then copy paste the codes into HLHQ respective text boxes.

Actually, (and really should have mentioned this in the first post) I can set up the controls manually in Demul for Player 1, but for some reason it doesn't register button inputs for Player 2, 3, or 4.

I've mentioned on the Hyperspin board that I get weird errors when I use Demul, and I think it has to do with my controller setup. But I find it especially weird that Demul won't let me input for players 2-4.

That's a problem in Demul then, does that happen with a joystick/gamepad or it won't register keyboard presses as well?

It does register key presses, however, it automatically registers it as "Joy0_anal6_Key-" if I am not holding down the key beforehand.

Edit: I also just want to say, I know it's an emulator issue, I more or less am just kind of hoping someone may have already set this up and I could just copy their ini.

You should probably ask in the Demul forum about this as it sounds like a bug in the emulator.

Your joystick can be not calibrated right so it constantly send that analog value, except when you hold another button or Analog can be broken, both cases happens to me before.

I'll try over at the Demul forum, but they tend to be kind of useless. XD

Edit: I just went to the Demul forum, and apparently I asked about this back in January... and the thread is STILL on their front page with 0 replies.

Try the Russian one the english forum is pretty much dead, not that the russian one is very active though, but you might have more luck there.

So, I got a response at the Russian Demul forum, bad news mostly, but I'll post it here in case anyone else has some sort of similar issue:

Sorry, no one ever tested demul with two controllers at the same time. Regular dinput controllers should work fine, xinput supports only single controller. But there also may be the issues with the drivers for particular controllers, which we can't even test if we don't have one... Your message means that drivers unable to setup some rumble effects (which isn't critical for the rest of functions, just annoying), so maybe other issues are because of the drivers too.
