Retroarch's white box

Hello guys,I'm setting up HyperPause and it's excellent work! I managed to configure it for mame and it works perfectly.

I found that when using hyperpause within retroarch emulator, a kind of white box is showing between game screen and hyperpause menu screen like this :

I don't know if it's related to my config but i hope someone knows what i'm talkin about and could help me solve dat problem :)

I tested Retroarch v1.0.0.2 and Duck Hunt (World) and I do not see this issue at all. Also removed my background png and still no white box. So I'm going to say it's probably related to a config in your emulator.

OK, so you have 0 problem so i'm sure i can solve it :p

I redownloaded retroarch 1.0.0.2 on liberto official site (x64 version), so retroarch settings are defaults
I edited retroarch (2.1.7 module version) : fullscreen = false ; HideConsole=true
My HyperPause settings are like :

Can you confirm this settings are the same as yours? and if so i'm out of luck, or should i edit somethin else that could affect hyperpause?

Plus, you have to know that when i enter HyperPause the screen looks right and maybe 3-4 more seconds and this is when the white ugly bug say hello to my teary eyed lol

Edit 2 : When i disable bezel support but keep fullscreen off, i can see the white box is within retroarch emulator screen, very strange :

I tested the same rom with your settings above and mine works just fine.
Does the game launch fine before you hit the HyperPause button?

Yes game loads correctly, i tested with bezel, then without, then fullscreen, then not it's always showing that strange white box, and it only occurs with retroarch, just tried demul mame dolphin and pcsx2 all works great

And when you un-pause it, it comes back just fine?
Would be suspect of the emulator for sure then.

OK guys i know what the bugs comes from and it is

tadadadada : Xpadder...

I simply put keymapper to false and the white box is old story now... guess i gotta switch to joytokey instead :(

Why not figure out how to hide xpadder instead? Your issue would not make me switch it would make me figure out how to fix it . I know xpadder has settings which control how visible it is why don't you check there first.

xpadder should never be visible if it's fully controlled by HL though as we already launch it with the minimize switch.

EDIT: Don't make that ini read only as HLHQ needs to have write access to it otherwise profile editing through it won't work properly.

Hey bro, i dont know how to correctly get xpadder fully controled by HL, i just set keymapper to enable / xpadder and in third party settings : front end profile to xpadder and of course enable hyperlaunch profile is activate too.
Anyway, i set up joytokey now and it's working great.
so thx guys for the help i'll edit that post if i found some new clue in a near future :)
