I'm really impressed by RocketLauncher and have been using it on one of my Windows arcades.
However, some years later the arcade is barely in use after building a dedicated "game-room" with multiple PC and TV's.
The game collection has also grown and I had to centralize it on my NAS instead of storing it locally. So my current problems are:
1. I want my collection to be available from any client (preferably without having to duplicate any data)
2. The n last played games should be cached locally with automatic cache rotation/purging when needed.
3. User support and savegame synchronization would be awesome.
Anyone else encountered these challenges? It's been quite a while since I've tried RocketLauncher, but I thought about maybe trying to rewrite the "data management" part of it as a web-service that can be hosted in Docker with a small cross-platform client that can grab any console/game/emulator from the service. Anyone interested in such?
