    However, the games folder names cannot contain spaces or they wont launch. Any idea how to fix that?

    I think in this part, you need to put quotes around the discgameFile and hddgameFile variables.

    Although from the look of it, you are sending:
    rpcs3.exe "My PS3 Game\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\EBOOT.BIN
    without the end quote.

    Also, why are you loading games from the "\dev_hdd0\disc\" folder? Is there any advantage to having them there? I thought RPCS3 could load them from anywhere.

    I've just been looking it up and it appears that any disc-based games can be in an arbitrary location, but PSN games must be installed to the "\dev_hdd0\game\" folder. That being the case, I would make an argument for PSN games being treated as a different system, similarly to the way WiiWare games are in the Dolphin module.

    As it is, you are forcing users to place their games in a specific directory, with a specific name, when it's really not necessary. If I've misunderstood, please explain.

    Are people still working on this? I have tried several of the posted module and get the Game not found error.
    The log seems to indicate the proper eboot.bin is found

    You also need a module ini for it to work. Here is a sample...

    Pretty simple. Just set up a rom path and create dummy files for the roms using real game names and make sure the discs and game names in dev_hdd0 are the game serial IDs and everything matches the ini. The ini will have to be built by hand but only once so no big deal.

    Put the dev_hdd0 folder and the dummy roms in the same place and set up a system in RL the usual way using whatever rom extension you choose. The beauty of this is you can use the real game name on the command line but PSN games will still work because they are stored as Serial ID folders the way the emulator expects.

    Make sure to set up the virtual file system in Rpcs3 to match where you put the dev_hdd0. You can set up custom configs in the emu for titles that require some special love to get running just make sure you set full screen in the config because the full screen setting in RL has no effect when you use a custom config. I also had problems with RL closing the emu so make sure you choose the "exit when game stops or closes" option in the emu and custom configs.

    edit: While I use Kodi RCB and NOT Hyperspin, so I use the default frontend script, the base command line in this method seems far less complicated than needed in the above example. i.e.

    Rocketlauncher "Sony Playstation 3" "1942 - Joint Strike"

    easy. Just make sure to generate a database based on the dummy roms.

    Anyone using wallmachine's module, place your dummy txt files in the root of where your games are and they will audit green and still properly boot.

    Here's a modified version of wallmachine's module. It will keep the fade screen up until the actual game window is visable instead of waiting for the emu window. This prevents the emu window to show before the game is launched. As usual, the code is not perfect but it works great for me. Thanks to the original authors of the module.

    getting FPS error message when loading , also module won't close at all.
    removing this line from module makes it work, but then you can still see emulator at startup:

    Any ideas ?

    Using latest RPCS3
    You will probably need to go to the "emulator" tab in settings and tick "show framerate in the window title".

    Are you sure you edited the right config? If your game uses a game specific config file, you will need to right click it and do the change in there. If you press alt+enter to go into windowed mode, does the window title start with "FPS"?

    Edit: By the way, Do you have Wallmachine's latest DB? All attachments are broken on the HS forums. If so, could you upload it?

    All RPCS3 modules I tested won't load the games unless I keep their code SLUS, etc., last one I tried is the one Dime attached some months ago, it won't show the emulator caching, as he says, but if I name a game like a normal entry, e.g, Virtua Fighter 5 - Final Showdown (USA), it won't load, in another module the emulator said the boot was corrupted, since it was probably looking for the game code folder.
    Does anyone have an updated module that will work with any name instead of the game code?

    I've tried that, if I use a game like Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown (USA) from the database, the PSN version will be installed through RCPS3 in the HDD0 folder as NPUB30625.
    The only way to make the game boot through RocketLauncher is using NPUB30625 as entry instead of the game name, even if I create a dummy txt file, the emulator will open but the game won't boot. There were cases where the emulator said that the boot.bin or something was corrupted, probably because I even tried renaming the NPUB30625 folder to the game name.

    How do you use that module in your PC? Do you rename or even move your game folders from the RPCS3 directory?

    I just want to make sure that it's possible to use a module that could do that, I mean, that I don't need to mess with the way the emulator deals with its folders, game installations, and that it will find the game I want to start according to the game name in the database like Game Name (USA), not the code.
    Otherwise anyone that'd like to add this system to a frontend will basically need to rename all artwork and media causing a lot of confusion along the way.

    I have my games inside a Roms Folder and my RPCS3 folder separate,although all the games I have right now are all folder games.
