Trying to delay Nestopia for full Fade

Probelm is, my Nestopia loads up faster than the Fade has time to complete. The game I am using is Legend Of Zelda, which has music immediately when you "turn on" the emulator.
Fade In Settings:
Enabled - True
DefaultAnimateFadeIn
Duration - 500
Delay - 3000
Exit Delay - 500
Play Sounds - True
What I would like to achieve for this emulator is have it load up once the FadeIn has completed or at least near completion.
Am I missing something? Thanks!

You're using bezels, right? I bet it works if you turn off the bezels. I have also noticed this issue.

Correct. I’m using a Bezel for Nestopia. Is it basically use one or none, and is there a fix around?

I don't think there is. I think it works if you use retroarch instead.

You’re making this happen with a 3 second delay + the exit delay.

Okay so let me see if I have this right
The first delay (500) is the time it takes for the fade to “fade” up into photo.
The second number (3000) 3 seconds, is the length of time it takes for the fade to stay on the screen.
The last delay (500) is for how long it takes to leave the photo and start the emulator?
I’m a bit confused on the three timings. What should they be? And when does th clock start? Once I click on the name in HS, and it starts to load, that should be the timing for the first fade.
Ideally I want the fade to play out it’s animation and a sound file I have, then go into the emulator.

Set them to use_global and work your way up from there.

Those settings are my global, I’m just changing them for NES because this only seems to happen with Nestopia. I’m just in the dark about which settings are for which in the Fade In, as well as understanding that do the FadeIn delays the emulator from starting up?
