    I am trying to set up Rom Mapping for the Sega Master System. This system has one game, Assault City, which has a Joypad and a Light Phaser version and I want them both in my setup. I want the Rom Mapping menu to show up and I only want these 2 entries shown.

    I have the games in a zipfile, named according to the HyperSpin database:
    Assault City (Europe).zip\Assault City (Europe) - Joypad version.sms
    \Assault City (Europe) - Light Phaser version.sms
    The RocketLauncher audit works fine and I can launch the games without any problems.

    My .ini is RocketLauncher\Settings\Sega Master System\Rom Mapping\Sega Master System.ini
    Code:
    [Assault City (Europe)]
    Alternate_Rom_Name_1=Assault City (Europe) - Joypad version
    Alternate_Rom_Name_2=Assault City (Europe) - Light Phaser version
    My Rom Mapping settings (the important ones):
    Code:
    [Rom Mapping]
    Rom_Mapping_Enabled=true
    Rom_Mapping_Launch_Menu_Enabled=true
    Default_Menu_List=FullList
    Single_Filtered_Rom_Automatic_Launch=false
    First_Matching_Ext=flase
    Show_All_Roms_In_Archive=false
    The menu comes up nicely and I can see my two choices.
    When I try the load the game, I get the general RetroArch error that shows up when somethings wrong.

    In the log, you can see that somehow the Rom_Extension gets lost somewhere. Line 2299 shows this:
    Code:
    Process.Run - Running: C:\Emulators\RetroArch\v1.7.6\retroarch.exe   "\Assault City (Europe) - Light Phaser version." -f -c "C:\Emulators\RetroArch\v1.7.6\retroarch.cfg" -L "C:\Emulators\RetroArch\v1.7.6\cores\genesis_plus_gx_libretro.dll
    Here is my log: https://pastebin.com/Vnr7SJaK

    I even tried to do some funny stuff, like zipping the two files in the Assault City (Europe).zip, so that the extensions would be the same. Nothing works unfortunately.
    Any help is appreciated

    Looking at the command line it's not only omitting the extension, but the rom path also.

    I'll try and take a look at your log when I get a chance and see if I can reproduce it too.
