I have an issue with some of the Mame games using bezels. The sound will stutter with bezels enabled unless I change the monitor resolution from 1080p to 720p. That's not a big deal to solve the problem but I was wondering if there was another fix someone has come up with.

My Mame version is old (.182). I've thought about updating it to see if that would fix it but being new at this, it looks like a complex task to go all the way from that version to the latest.

I've also tried adjusting the individual game's resolution in RL but when I start the game, the resolution doesn't change.

The PC is an i5 with a GTX750.

    Any help is appreciated!

Turn on "Legacy Mode" under the emulator settings. Tekken 3 is the best for testing before and after since it stutters like crazy when it says "Good Morning". After legacy mode is on, even while rotating through bezels, it doesn't stutter anymore.

You should really only use legacy mode if you're running an older version of MAME that doesn't support the overrides the normal execution sends. If enabling legacy mode fixes your problem it's because you have module settings that differ from your emulator ini values and you should compare those settings to see what's different and adjust the module settings accordingly.
