    Hi All,
I added/tested the NEW Play core for PS2 on RetroArch and although iso, cso, zip all load ok (load only for most games atm) , when the file is G-Zipped it won't load in RetroArch.
Is there something I am missing, or is the module not currently setup to use g-zipped files ?

    Thanks in advance

It's not a module issue. That core prob just doesn't support gz files. Check the core info or whatever it's called to see if it's a valid extension.

Hi, Yes thanks all working ok on PCSX2, but just checking to see why not working on RetroArch just for info purposes.
I assumed that the core was looking at the file inside the GZIP file which is actually just an iso, but obviously not.
    Thanks to Agent47/Ninja for info.

ps, FYI, I tested a 7zipped rom and it loads fine even though 7z is NOT listed as a valid extension on the core. Seems to just be GZ it has an issue with.
