Iím looking to add to the rom settings section in rlui where I can pick a game and select which controller type the game should use. This is useful for light gun games as a whole. Need to be able to run a game with light gun support on. Iím not sure what to add here but the systems that come to mind are Dreamcast, snes, nes, psx, ps2, naomi, sega cd, sega Saturn

I use a separate copies of retroarch specifically gun games and use alternate emulators. Genesis guns work fine in 1.7.6 afaik and not In newer ones. Once guns are working per core I donít like to mess with that instance of the emulator for fear of messing stuff up.

I think I had issues with rl swapping retroarch configs and just use the built in ability of per core and game configs. One example is ps1. As some ps1 games work with dual shock and others do not.

Just some ideas for you as you venture down this path. Cheers!
