Bezels + Cliff Hanger (daphne) = pulling my hair out

Hi all,

came up empty on a search, so thought I'd ask...

using nija2beseen bezel pack for daphne, and it all works great, including adding instruction cards, for Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, Bega's Battle
But Cliff Hanger does not want to cooperate. When launched, the left side of bezel appears, then about 80% of the game screen. Below the bezel and gamescreen you can see the windows desktop, actually about the same amount of desktop that -vertical_stretch 24 should have taken care of.

I would have take a screenshot, but I just have snipping tool and ALT-TABbing to it caused the bezel and game to actually display correctly. Alt tabbing back to daphne made the problem return.

I've uploaded my log files here (dragons lair for comparison) - hoping for some guidance.

I've added and removed so many parameters to the cliff rom, take what you see with a grain of salt. I've added/removed hardware acceleration, opengl, vertical_stretch, fullscreen, not full screen, etc - just seeing is anything sticks

my gut tell me that the issue is my resolution is being reset to -x 1446 -y 1080, and I'm not sure where those numbers are coming from. (UPDATE: I'm dumb - it's coming from bezel.ini file in \cliff directory)

First of all, did you ever get this resolved? Second, How did you get the Daphne Bezels to work? I can't even get the default bezels to work and they work on all of the other emulators. The ini files were missing for the other bezels and even with that fact, the default bezels weren't being accessed. All is working now, even Cliff Hanger. Some of the bezels could use some sprucing up, I'll get on to that next.
