Bezels for everyone! From my personal project.

Reason for problem:
(This is my first post on any forum ever so woo for that)
I am currently working on a personal arcade project. I was and am still in need of console themed bezels.

Problem:
I have had no luck at all finding any that are worth using in my opinion.
So to stick with the passion for this build and my own personal custom nature, I have decided to make all the ones I require by hand.

(With all that BS out of the way.)

Solution:
I'm taking the time to make acceptable ones and I'm not gonna be greedy with them.
So here you go. I will be posting them as they are completed.

Specs:
  • DPI: 300
  • Resolution: 1920x1080
Samples:

Game Boy Demo.jpg - Nintendo Game Boy
GameCube Demo.jpg - Nintendo Gamecube
GBA Demo.jpg - Nintendo Game Boy Advanced
n64 bezel.jpg - Nintendo 64
PS1 Demo.jpg - Sony Playstation
Nintendo Entertainment System.jpg - Nintendo Entertainment System
SNES Demo.jpg - Super Nintendo Entertainment System
GBC Sample.jpg - Nintendo Game Boy Color
PSP Demo.jpg - Sony PSP

Download:
This is a zip with the bezel png's and ini.

Updates:
02-27-2015
  • Nintendo Entertainment System added
  • Super Nintendo Entertainment System added
02-28-2015
  • Nintendo Game Boy Color added
  • Fixed all transparency issues
  • Organized and renamed files and folders in zip for ease of use
03-10-2015
  • Sony PSP added
05-20-2017
  • Updated rar link due to the original being broken.
Other thoughts:
I hope someone finds these useful.
After I'm finished with the ones I need personally, I may start taking requests.
Any other questions or suggestions are very welcome.

If anyone likes these and uses any of them in their projects I would love to see pictures of your builds.

Not only that but you got the games looking good. Which emu / shader combo you finding the most effective?

The sample pics are just screenshots thrown into photoshop for demo purposes. The gameboy one how ever does have a green tint that overlays on the emulator.
But in the actual emulator they look better than these samples, I use mednefen for GB and GBA. PSXfin for ps1. Latest version of project64 for N64. And Dolphin for Gamecube. No shaders on any though.

Nice! You should look at the overlays nosh made. Those are also great, but those are only for RetroArch.

I just looked at them, they are really good, especially the game gear. I'm probably going to just resize and use his game gear one for mine :D
It's about the same I would have come up with anyway so no sense in re inventing the wheel in that regard. Just won't post that one here out of respect.

Great bezels! I will be adding these to my rotation.

you dont need to resize nosh's bezels. Hyperlaunch will do that for you. You just need correct ini coordinates.

This in the ini that I use for nosh's Game Gear bezel.
Code:
[General]
Bezel Screen Top Left X Coordinate=820
Bezel Screen Top Left Y Coordinate=308
Bezel Screen Bottom Right X Coordinate=1744
Bezel Screen Bottom Right Y Coordinate=1098
Depending on your emu these coords should work or be very close for anyone using a 1920x1080 destkop res.

I didn't know that it auto sized, but I like to have a bit of shading around this inner part of the screen anyway so no harm no foul. But I will try out your coords, just to understand. Thank you!
