How do you exit from sub wheel back to the main wheels?

After updating to the new hyperlaunchhq:

I cant exit like I used to from sub wheel to the main wheel. Instead, I get the message to exit. Ive tried every button. It used to be E on the keyboard to confirm, q to backtrack. Now its q to exit entirely.

Isn't that a setting in HSHQ? This has nothing to do with HLHQ though.
