my system is running fine, however, there is artwork around the screen when I play a mame game.

I searched bezels mame disable and something about neogeo game up and none of the following forum items seemed to deal with this issue.

use_bezel 0 is no longer in the version of mame i am using... ps latest version of RL, mame and Hyperspin.

I also don't want to just delete artwork which is another suggested solution.. I just want the MAME game to play full screen in portrait without the bezel / surround / margin / border...

there does not seem to be any buttons in HQ either to eliminate.

If you want to adjust the artwork per-game, open mame menu(in game)

Video options->Screen

There will be a list of "views" in the top box. Select the one with no artwork. It's usually "Screen 0 Standard".

If you want to stretch the game to fill the screen select Maintain Aspect Ratio "off"
