Is the use of modules mandatory?

Isn't there a way to launch emulators directly? Sometimes modules stop working because of regular emulator updates and modules may not get updates as regularly so this would be useful in such cases.

Before you update an emulator, create a backup in case it's not supported by the current module.

Before you update Rocketlauncher create a backup of the entire module folder.
