Launching Atari 800 games with rom ext

OK I am using the roms form MAME software list from pd a800 starraid. The game launched fine in command-line. When I change the name to Star Raiders (USA) and re-zip it it tells me it's missing rom extension. How do I fix this? I know I can down load the game from another rom site as .atr but was wondering why RLUI is not launching it.

Do you have the zip extension listed for the emulator your using in RLUI?

Example: 7z|zip|rar|atr

Yes I do and the MAME/MESS software list for this system are rom.exe which I added to the extension list in RLUI. That's why I wasn't sure they didn't work even though they work in the command-kine for MAME/MESS.

Extension are "rom.exe"? U really meant that? Atari800 doesnt even use exe files as file extension bro..

I'm talking about MAME/MESS software list for a800 (Atari 800), those files are .rom. I attached a file to explain it better for you since you can't understand. TYPE OF FILE IS ROM. CAPICHE?

So back to the main question, Why do the games launch in command line MAME but not in RLUI?
