I suspect the answer here would be "it depends" or "to each his own", but I wanted to get the RL Experts opinions on which option to use for RetroArch.
I am trying to simplify my setup, and am converting as many emulators I can to RetroArch. This also allows me to use the neat shader feature.
My main question is, should I look to use the native overlay functionality for "bezels" or should I use the "out of the box" RL feature for bezels?
I believe the RL bezel feature was built for emulators that don't have bezel support, which tells me that perhaps I should use the native RetroArch feature. That being said, Mame has bezel support, but in Mame I don't use the native feature and I use the RL bezels.
Just wanted to have my setup be close to the "default" that others use.
Thanks
