Submenu Appearance Menu Question

I did a search and also browsed the Wiki, but I didn't find a definite answer.

The width and height in both the INI file and in the GUI have a "Pipe" separating two numbers.

Width=1350|1020
Height=450|700

Why are there two numbers for each value?

The first one is the width when you use the monitor in landscape orientation and the second one is for when you use your monitor vertically.
