Something weird happened today. Hyperspin stopped reacting to keypresses. That has happened before, I know. This time however it was impossible to alt-tab back to it or use the force focus key. Now, this has never happened to me before. I could still bring up Hypersearch with my "hypersearch key" but I could not do anything in HS itself. Amazing

Hi Turranius. How are you doing these days? Long time no see. Anyway, the volume adjuster has stopped working for me and I don't know why. I have set the timer to 10 seconds for testing. I was thinking maby it had something to do with me switching to an english Windows 7, but that shouldn't matter when using the later versions, right?

Heya! Doing good these days. Not played with any emulation for a while though, which includes the Idle Volume Adjuster =)

Everything looks good from what I can see from the log though, but you're saying nothing is happening? Can you lower and raise the volume manually with the hotkeys?
Can you try running it as administrator?

And no, language should not matter.

Edit: Or is it that the volume never lowers, meaning it never goes idle? Might be something resetting the idle timer if so. In the download for the program, there is an Extras folder. Run Test_Idle_Time.exe from there and make sure the timer goes up if you do not touch anything. If it keeps resetting back down without you touching anything, try unplugging any controllers and keyboards one at a time until you find what causes it.

Yes, that is what I meant. I'll do some more tests.

Edit: You were right of course. It was my dolphinbar that was acting up. It kept resetting the timer after a few seconds. After disconnecting and reconnecting it, everything is back to normal. Thank you.

Nice. Glad it was that easy because I did not look forward to troubleshooting something I've not touched for a while =)

Sorry. I spoke too soon. After some testing, i found this:

Using the Dolphinbar in mode 1 or 2 works great. The timer goes something like 0 - 812 - 1516 - 2844 - 4016. In mode 3, the timer never leaves 0 And in mode 4, which is the mode that I almost exclusively use so I'm sure that it has worked before, the timer goes something like 0 - 63 - 125 - 172 - 219 and then resets.

I can stil use the app to set different volumes for stuff, so that's the most important thing. I'm sure I can learn to live with this issue.
