From now on, the background image will come with 2 style of bezels and will have the company logo on them....
for those that do not like the company logo on them and like more the clean look more, please download the bezel frames folder on the link below.
In the folder you will find all the frames i use, without the company logo on them, this way you can decide which frame to use...

UPDATE 12-01-2015

From now on, all bezels horizontal 4:3 and all vertical 3:4 will stay on that aspect ratio unless otherwise noted on the announcement post.

If the bezel is of a different aspect ratio, like let's say 8:7...
All you have to do is change the in game video settings to the correct one for said game.

Most will stay the same if the difference is not that bad, but if the pixels look to stretched, I will definitely use the pixel ratio and thus making the game look like it should.

Resized and changed the neogeo complete minted set to 2560x1440 All resolutions.

Time to clean up this thread and tidy up.

First thank you for your support, It means a lot to me that a lot of you enjoy my work.


Secondly... These are all Resolutions Bezels at 2560x1440.

They work flawlessly on 16x9 monitors and or TV's which is the only thing i have to test.

In order to display the on 16x10 monitors and not lose any of the artwork.... you can try the method below, tho you may lose a bit of actual aspect ratio on the actual game screen.

Alex, you call me to post here about your bezels for 16:10 monitors users. My solution is, if you have pc monitor 16:10 what i do is i overclocked my pc monitor 1680x1050 (16:10) resolution to 1866x1050 (16:9 ratio) with cru (custom resolution utillity) and 16:9 bezels fit perfectly on retroarch with aspect ratio 4:3 in games and not stretched. Dont increase height, just multiple height by 16/9 and this is your resolution, for example in my case height is 1050 so 1050x16/9 is my resolution 1866x1050 and i add this resolution in cru, also make sure monitor on top left is (active) timing is automatic LCD standard, and refresh rate is 60hz click ok and restart computer, after restart choose your added screen resolution. Here is how look your bezels on overclocked pc monitor 1866x1050

And finally... These bezels work best with Gigapig's Mame 167 setup he shared using glsl and truly making it look an actual arcade monitor on HD TV's

From now on these will be the norm, no more square screen bezels []


Side note: If you notice that some screenshots the actual screen doesnt fit properly like others do, disregard as that an issue i am having as they work perfect on my alienware alpha []

What is the difference between the 2 packs? One you give a res and say all res...isn't that contradicting itself?

thanks Djvj... no one is a working folder where i will be making them available since i have asked people where to upload them and no one seems to care to answer... and the other one is just a zip with all of them.. well minus the ones posted here so people can just i guess get them all at once .
Unless you can get the whole working folder in one download? i dont know ive been away from most of this for a while now and i am mostly on my phone lol

hope that explains it.... if you want me to take the zip file out i can... wont bother me... just thought it made it easier to at least grab most of them in 1 click

Heres 5 of the sega mame sets i am making.. dont know how many more sega ones ill make...
also i received some complaints about some bezels being just to simple looking >_>
all i can say is, is you dont like them.... dont download them... i dont mind critics... but dont come at me with an attitude
sometimes i cant find art, sometimes is to hard for me to use the pentool because of my tendonitis, so i due the best i can.

with that said... i hope the rest can enjoy these as much as i do... thx for the rest for all youre support... it does motivates me to know some people like them

thx brother... will never let that happen... as long as 1 person likes them, i will keep sharing them
least i can do to repay for what you and other devs do for the community and for me personally... while i havent had much time to play since coming back due to having to relearn and setting up... i have been reminiscence of my years as a young lad playing all these great games...to tell you the truth, i dont think i would play many emulators if it wasnt for you guys...
if just awesome to have hyperspin and rockectlauncher and allow me to make art for it... as i work on them i recollect lots of times
couldnt do that without you guys

The only thing that I would change is to have the game and manufacturer name rotated 90 degrees and moved near to the edges of the image to avoid cropping them on a 16:10 aspect ratio.
Even so, you don't have to worry about that if you prefer the way you are doing.

thx brother... i was under the inpression that 16x10 was wider than 16x9 SMFH lol
dilema...if i move the logos to the outer edge, it will look good on 16x10 but ugly on 16x9
